These terms govern your use of the You Zodiac app, operated by an Australian sole trader (“we,” “us”). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms.

1. What You Zodiac is

You Zodiac is an astrology and entertainment app. It generates birth charts, daily readings, and compatibility reports based on astrological calculation and interpretation. Astrology is not a science, and readings are provided for entertainment, reflection and self-exploration purposes only.

2. Not professional advice

Nothing in the app constitutes medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other professional advice. Don't use You Zodiac as a substitute for consulting a qualified professional about health, relationships, finances, or any other significant life decision.

3. Your account and data

You Zodiac doesn't require you to create an account. Birth details you enter are stored locally on your device, as described in our Privacy Policy. You're responsible for the accuracy of the birth information you enter — inaccurate details will produce inaccurate charts.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the app's source code
• Interfere with or disrupt the app or the services it connects to
• Use the app to harass, impersonate, or infringe the rights of others

5. Subscriptions

Some features may be offered as a paid subscription with a free trial period. Subscriptions are billed and managed through the Apple App Store using your Apple ID payment method, and automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your device's App Store account settings — we don't have the ability to cancel it on your behalf.

6. Intellectual property

The You Zodiac name, logo, app design, and written content are owned by us or our licensors. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from the app or its content without our written permission.

7. Third-party services

The app relies on third-party services to calculate astrological and geographic data. We aren't responsible for outages, inaccuracies, or changes made by these third-party providers that are outside our control.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that readings will be accurate or meaningful for your circumstances.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including decisions made based on readings or interpretations it provides. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that can't be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app evolves. We'll update the "last updated" date above when we do, and continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
